Cane Dragon (Emily Brownlee) Oboe Reed

Cane Dragon reeds are perfect for an intermediate to advanced player. With a medium-sized opening and a beautifully finished tip, you can sing through your oboe without exhausting your face or exploding your brain! Please note that the Cane Dragon is a left-handed reedmaker, so reeds will be slipped to the left.

Emily Brownlee (they/them) is your friendly neighbourhood queer left-handed oboist! Originally from New Brunswick, they now live in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and perform, teach, and sell reeds all throughout the Midwest and Ontario. Emily holds three degrees in oboe performance: a bachelor's degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, a master's degree from the University of Ottawa, and a specialist degree from the University of Michigan.
