Constructed following many of the methods of Norman Herzberg, this reed is built by Swiss-based, Canadian bassoonist Andrew Burn. The reeds are of a medium hardness and become slightly easier to play over time. Best suited for students and amateur players, as well as those professionals who prefer a less-resistant reed.

Bonnie Reed has a good sound, and an easy crow. Still needed a bit of work to suit my playing style. Online video on what to do with the reed once it arrived was very helpful.
